Pauline – A 1920s-Inspired French Bistro

Pauline Bistro combines the elegance of an old world café with the casual nature of a neighbourhood eatery. It is a light-filled space for an early morning espresso or a long lunch of shared dishes, and even a spot for a late afternoon digestif. The goal of their launch on Social Media was to increase their following prior to and at the moment they opened their doors. 26 Projects built a warm and welcoming visual and narrative foundation for their brand new Instagram account – a visual treat available to be consumed by the public eye, followed up by a fun giveaway to celebrate their launch.

Creating accessible and casual platforms to share candid moments throughout the day, the neighbourhood in which they reside, and the distinctive moods within one, connected space.

Enter the Wood Tavern – A Local Hangout, Rekindled

Pleasure, atmosphere, food and drink – The Wood Tavern is the result of the expansive renovation of the Norwood hotel bar and restaurant that has purposely kept its original name. Nostalgia with a modern edge, paired beautifully with campfire-inspired cuisine is what their social presence needed to exude, in addition to the account acting as a sort of ‘friend’ to followers both new and old. Amplifying the existing brand’s warmth, the studio captured highly rich and moody photography of the interior spaces and neighbourhood surroundings prior and post opening, alongside developing graphics to activate a giveaway helping to increase following and engagement in a short period of time.

The Result

Both accounts now function as accessible and casual platforms to share candid moments throughout the day, the neighbourhood in which they reside, and distinctive moods within one, connected space. 26 Projects continues to help build a range of visuals and associations that speak to place, history, and contemporaneity for both dining concepts for The Wood Tavern.
